disease; or are watching your weight, sometimes a little help is in order.

the hospital.
Inside the ER, stud walls are in place and drywall is going up. Outside, the

$1,000,000 mark
4/21/08
Ste.
Genevieve County Memorial Hospital announced that a local corporation has
committed significant funding to the hospital’s Friends Foundation Capital
Campaign, My Health, My Home, My Hospital, launched in October 2007.
Mississippi Lime Company donated $300,000 to the campaign, pushing the
campaign near $1,000,000. The money raised in the campaign will be used to
purchase a 64-slice CT scanner; redesign the main lobby; and make exterior
renovations to match the new ER. Recognized for investing in organizations
that contribute to a vibrant community, Mississippi Lime directs much of its
philanthropy to the community’s anchor institutions, like Ste. Genevieve
County Memorial Hospital.
“This
is the single biggest donation we’ve ever made,” said Mike DeCola,
Mississippi Lime Company CEO. “This community is a vital part of our fabric.
So this is a great opportunity for us to give back and do something that
will benefit our employees and their families as well as the rest of the
