Tom Keim, SGCMH CEO (at right), welcomed participants to event.
“We rely on our Friends Foundation to raise money to help the hospital provide great care in our community,” he said. “This year the Foundation has taken on some pretty big projects. We’ve expanded the surgery center, which the foundation has committed $300,000 to. The Friends are also helping us upgrade our mammography machine to 3D, so we can continue to improve our women’s health services not only in our county, but the surrounding region as well.”
Keim also thanked the healthcare community.
“It’s wonderful to know that the healthcare communities work together to make sure we’re taking care of patients in our community and I do appreciate my peers in the region supporting our hospital.”
Taking first place in the Championship Flight with a scorecard playoff was St. Francis Medical Center (at left) with a score of 55. In second place, also with a score of 55, was Electrical Contractors, Team 1; and in third place with a score of 56 was Offices Unlimited.
