Partners take top MHA auxiliary honor

11/11/2016

At the Missouri Hospital Association (MHA) annual conference held earlier this month at Lake of the Ozarks the Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital Partners was honored for a second year in a row, for their exceptional efforts as an auxiliary representing a hospital with up to 30 licensed beds.
The MHA cited the Partners 14,000+ hours of volunteer service the past year; the Partners fundraising activities, which allowed nearly $50,000 in contributions to priority projects, including $42,000 for hospital equipment; and $5,000 in scholarships for local students.
Mickey Koetting, Partners President, accepted the award on behalf of the Partners.
“This is probably the one place that I know everyone knows it takes more than a few people to do the jobs we do, and we are a very active auxiliary.” said Koetting. “I want to thank Tom Keim, our CEO, Rita Brumfield, our liaison, members of the hospital board and a whole cadre of our volunteers, who came here today to be a part of this award. This is our 2nd year and maybe we’ll see you again next year!”
