Full time. 64 hours. Days and evenings with weekend and holiday rotation. 4, 5, 6, 8 and 12 hour shifts. This is an essential position in the laboratory. Candidate must be highly dependable with the ability to multi-task under pressure and accommodate job requests with a positive outlook. Excellent and consistent customer service skill coupled with the ability to work closely with other department members is essential. While willing to train, previous exposure to or an aptitude for clinical work is preferred and necessary. The primary job tasks include: venous finger stick specimens, transportation of specimens and maintenance of sensitive supplies and confidential information. The ability to create error free work is required. We are seeking an applicant that is meticulous, patient, and able to accept requests from several sources and highly disciplined in their ability to create easily read notes and documentation as well as communicate sensitively to our public and those around you. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation as well as a High School Diploma or Certification of Equivalency. Must be willing to utilize TeamStepp and Aidet practices.
