“I love working with a group of people and working together to can make a difference in people’s lives,” said Glassey. “For example, by working jointly with all of the state’s auxiliaries, we helped pass the bill to have Autism covered by insurance in Missouri. Each year the state president gives us a health issue to promote. This year it is cancer prevention.”

Naomi presently serves as president –elect for the Ste. Genevieve Auxiliary, and will once again assume the duties of president starting July 1, 2012. She also serves as fundraising chair.

Naomi is married to Ray; they live in Ste. Genevieve County (Weingarten) where they moved in November, 1973. She stayed at home and helped raised their four children, Michael, Cynthia, Sonya and Allen. Then Ray decided to retire early at age 55. So, Ray stayed home and Naomi started volunteering.
