Genevieve County Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce its first baby of
the year born at the hospital.
Malachy Michael Cavanaugh
was born on January 7,
2010 at 5:18 a.m. He is the son of Ali and Brett Cavanaugh. He weighed
eight pounds, 11 ounces and was 21 inches long. Dr. Tony Lam was the
delivering physician.
Malachy has a big sister, Neve and a big brother, Finn.
Maternal grandparents are Vern and Bobby Hamelback, who
reside in Wappapello Lake, MO. Paternal grandparents are Bruce and
Dawn Cavanaugh of Savannah, Georgia.
The strains of Brahm's Lullaby played
shortly after the birth to announce the arrival throughout the hospital.
The hospital auxiliary presented a baby
afghan, handmade by the auxiliary, to the family.
Donze Communications
and Radio Stations KBDZ AND KSGM, on behalf
of their First Baby of the Year
sponsors, presented the couple with many lovely gifts. Radio
personality Michelle Hoog presented the gifts.
