SGCMH Nutrition Counseling

Nutrition Counseling through Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital is available by appointment to provide nutrition counseling for individuals with specific medical needs as well as those who wish to maintain optimal health. Using an approach that integrates education and tools to help change behaviors and meet individual health goals, our registered dietitian provides nutrition counseling for a full range of needs such as:

Outpatient Education for Diabetes

• diabetes mellitus 

• obesity

• kidney disease

• gestational diabetes

• fatty liver

• GI health

• heart health

• women's health 

• other diet education as prescribed by a physician

Note: All nutrition counseling requires a physician referral. Please check with your insurance for coverage of services.
