Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital is a critical access acute care hospital in Ste. Genevieve, MO, offering private rooms and a full continuum of medical and surgical services as well as 24-hour adult and pediatric emergency services. The hospital is situated in southeast Missouri, conveniently located and easily accessible from Interstate 55.

Services available include an emergency department, inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures, cancer care and research center, a full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient diagnostic testing and treatment services, plus dynamic women’s wellness services including obstetrics, gynecology and extensive breast care. The hospital and its physician clinics offer primary and specialty care providers, and provide after hours care and retail pharmacy.

Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital serves families in the counties of St. Louis, Jefferson, Franklin, Saint Francois, Ste. Genevieve, Perry and Washington in Missouri, along with Monroe, Randolph and St. Clair counties in Illinois.

Cardiac Care

Our heart program treat patients suffering from heart diseases and conditions. We offer a variety of outpatient diagnostic testing to treat a number of conditions to provide the highest quality of care for our patients. Our staff cardiologist, Matthew S. Bosner, MD, FACC, FACP, Director of Cardiology at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital (SGCMH), has earned the recognition of Distinguished Master Laureate of the American Board of Cardiology.

Orthopedic Care

The orthopedics and podiatry team at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital specializes in the care of bone and joint disorders, spine injuries and musculoskeletal diseases. The team includes orthopedic and podiatry surgeons, a nurse practitioner and a support team that offers a wide range of prevention and treatment options.

Women's Health & Wellness Services

From childbirth to advanced gynecology care, SGCMH Women’s Wellness Services delivers, providing expectant mothers the assurance of top medical expertise in every phase of pregnancy and delivery. Quality care for women of all ages and all stages of life.  Our Breast Care Center offers the most advanced digital screening and diagnostic technology, to help detect breast cancer in its earliest stages.

Research at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital

In keeping with the Hospital's mission "to provide personalized and compassionate care," Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital’s Oncology department has an active clinical research program with Missouri Baptist Hospital and Heartland Cancer Research CCOP which allows the opportunity to pursue new and innovative treatments in the care of their patients. Through these research initiatives, the hospital provides patients with alternative methods of treatment. We are termed “the smallest research facility in the world.”
