SGCMH Medical Staff Members, Grass and McCullough Officially Retires

Ste. Genevieve, MO – After more than 40 years combined, Sharon Grass RN, CS, FNP and Mary Ann McCullough, MSN, ANP-BC, two of the hospitals long-time nurse practitioners announced their retirement from Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital (SGCMH) effective this summer.

Grass has been practicing at SGCMH since 1973, specializing in adult primary care, diabetes education and family medicine. McCullough has been practicing at SGCMH since 1999, and also specialized in adult medicine and diabetes education.

SGCMH recently held a retirement celebration for both providers. Tom Keim, SGCMH CEO, said it was a bittersweet occasion, in that retirement is something you work for all your life, but their presence at the hospital clinics will be sorely missed by their patients and hospital colleagues.

Grass and McCullough will not be easily replaced, but the hospital has more than 100 providers ready to help. A visit to stegenevievehospital.org/findadoc or a call to the referral line at 573-883-7777 might be helpful in a search for a medical provider.

Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital is a critical access, rural community hospital that uses advanced technology, medicine and an expert staff to provide patients and the community with excellent, personalized, and compassionate healthcare resources.
