Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital Welcomes its 200th baby for its Fiscal Year


Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital welcomes its 200th baby!

Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital (SGCMH) is pleased to announce the birth of baby boy Reegan who marked the 200th baby for the hospital’s fiscal year which is no small feat for the rural hospital. Tony Lam, MD was the delivering physician. 

Baby boy Reegan was born on April 30 at 7:59 pm, weighing 7 pounds, 7 ounces, recording the significant accomplishment.  The parents, Lyndsay and Brent were excited and thrilled that their new little bundle of joy contributed to the hospital’s achievement.  “We felt very grateful and loved,” said mom Lyndsay.  “The staff made delivering Reegan very comforting and easy to handle and then we celebrated.” 

The family including two other boys, Dayton, 9 and Brenner, 1 were showered with gifts from SGCMH and the Partners Auxiliary along with gifts from area merchants including Steve Plati, Shelter Insurance, Le Techniques Salon, Lori Burgert, Le Techniques Salon and Country Mart.

“It was a very exciting moment,” said Lyndsay. “One we will always remember.”

Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital is a nonprofit county owned community hospital that delivers personable and compassionate care using advanced medical technology.  It is the primary healthcare provider for the entire county and is the second largest employer that includes over 400 employees and a medical team comprised of active, courtesy and consulting physicians and nurse practitioners.
