We understand how overwhelming it is to be a patient in any hospital, but we’d like to make you or your family members stay here as comfortable as possible and get back to being healthier. All of us at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital—physicians, staff and volunteers—are dedicated to providing you with an atmosphere of comfort, personable care and trust. As we work to keep you informed about your care, we realize you may have additional questions. Please be encouraged to ask questions of your nurse or any other hospital staff member at any time.

We are honored that you have chosen our facility for you healthcare needs. We are here to assist your healing, and we will make your stay the most pleasant and specialized health care experience for you and your visitors.  You are welcome to a host of services here in addition to our cafeteria services.  Feel free to ask questions of the staff any time you or your family need assistance.

Housekeeping

Your room and bathroom will be cleaned daily by a member of the Housekeeping staff. Please feel free to ask any questions at any time. 

Spiritual Care
Spiritual healing is an important part of health care for you and your family. Therefore, a non-denominational chapel is located on the first floor of the hospital next to the surgery waiting room. Also, spiritual services are aired on television on channel 20. If you need to contact your minister or arrange services in the hospital’s chapel our staff will gladly assist you.

Notary Public
Notary public service is provided for patients free of charge. For the notary public service, please ask your nurse for assistance.

The Hospital Auxiliary has a gift shop in the hospital lobby. Gifts available for purchase range from baby quilts hand-quilted by the auxiliary to small knick-knacks. The gift shop is open: Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm, and closed Saturday and Sunday.

Wireless internet access is available to patients as well as their family members and friends.

Complimentary copies of the Ste. Genevieve Herald are available upon request.

Vending Machines
For the convenience of hospital visitors, there are a variety of vending machines with drink and snack items located on the lower level of the hospital and in the Emergency department on the upper level.

ATM services
For the convenience of visiting family members and friends an automated teller machine (ATM) is located in the hospital lobby area.

Lost and Found
All articles found at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital are taken to the cashier's window. You or a family member may inquire about lost items by dialing 573-883-4467.

Flowers and Gifts
The Auxiliary delivers ecards, flowers and gifts to patients daily from a variety of florists and shops. Also, the gift shop has flowers and gift items for family members to purchase for their loved ones.
