Inpatient Care Services

Inpatient care is provided to patients who remain in the hospital during and after receiving healthcare services at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital. It is the goal of every staff member to ensure that you receive the finest care possible. To meet your needs, we have many services to care for you while you are here. It is our tradition of treating the whole person, and our compassion for patients and families in times of need that sets us apart from other health care facilities and attracts the highest caliber of physicians, nurses and support professionals. We also offer       Swing bed services.

Your privacy is important to us. We can assure you that we will not release your protected health information to anyone without your permission. “It’s the LAW.”

Your health care team is comprised of medical professionals dedicated to provide quality services that best meet your needs. The team is made up of medical staff, nursing staff, therapists, social workers, dietitians, clinicians and other support staff.

All but a few of our rooms are private rooms. In most rooms, recliners are available for family members. In addition, a nurse call system notifies the patient’s assigned nurse. During your hospital stay, a multidisciplinary team will be involved in all aspects of your care, including your discharge. This team includes your physician, nurse, therapist, case manager and social worker. They will talk to you about your discharge from the hospital shortly after you are admitted, to ensure that your needs will be met when it's time to return home.

Patients are welcome to bring their laptops and our IS staff will make sure they are connected to our free WIFI and can e-mail their friends and family members.
